Dentistry

Pets need dental care too!

Poor dental care is one of the most common ways more serious health issues arise in animals. Without care, bacteria from oral disease can enter the bloodstream causing damage to your pet’s heart, kidneys, or liver. Besides those serious issues, pets with dental problems can experience serious pain.

Advanced Dental Care

Sandy Springs has advanced dentistry equipment. Because the state-of-the-art anesthesia and radiology equipment is optimized and available immediately during dentistry procedures, your pet’s care is optimal and the time under anesthesia is minimized.

Post-graduate trained veterinary professionals

Sandy Springs' dentistry staff has regular post-graduate training in the latest dentistry techniques and technologies.

During the procedure, we use modern and safe ultrasonic scaler to clean each tooth thoroughly – above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface that is more resistant to plaque buildup. Bonding treatments provide sealants on the surface of the teeth and help prevent future disease.

Should any undetected dental disease be diagnosed during to the procedure, we will contact the client to discuss treatment options immediately.
