  • Dianna Joseph

    Dr. Dianna Elizabeth Joseph, DVM, is the Hospital, Surgical, and Medical Director of Sandy Springs Animal Clinic. She is a 1999 graduate of the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. When Dr. Joseph isn’t working, she loves to travel. Her other interests are running, horseback riding, biking, and skiing. “I love being the family pet doctor. I do my best to give the patients and their owners 100% of my abilities at all times, in hopes of gaining their trust and confidence.”

  • Peter J. Muller III
    DVM, ABVP, Diplomate

    Dr. Peter J. Muller III, DVM, is a 1984 graduate of the University of Georgia and is board certified with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in companion animal practice. His medical interests include cardiology, ultrasound and internal medicine. “I love working with families and pets to solve complicated medical and behavioral issues,” said Dr. Muller, who is a pilot and has used his airplane in a number of pet rescue missions. “Seeing a sick pet regain its spirit and start interacting with the family again is very rewarding.” Dr. Muller has a dog, Tucker, and two cats, Charlie and Einstein.

  • Andrea Powell

    Dr. Andrea Powell, DVM, is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia where she received her bachelors in animal science. She received her veterinary degree in 2007 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She did her clinical rotations at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests include dentistry, internal medicine, geriatric care and behavioral issues. Helping pets and their families has been a calling from a young age and she can't imagine doing anything else with her life. Dr. Powell says, 'I strive to treat every pet I see with as much concern and attention as I would want for my own'. She grew up in Georgia and lives in Atlanta with her 3 boys, husband, 2 dogs and cat.

  • Brittany Martin
    Veterinary Assistant, Practice Manager

    Brittany Martin is our most senior veterinary assistant and our practice manager! She is currently attending technical school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She joined Sandy Springs Animal Clinic in the spring of 2013. Originally from Montana, she has a deep love and respect for the human-animal bond that was fostered by her family's love of animals.

  • Maria Paredes
    Veterinary Assistant

    Maria Paredes is our other veterinary assistant. She is from Ecuador. She received her Veterinary Degree in 2008 from University of Cuenca. She did an internship in the Teaching Hospital of the University of Buenos Aires - Argentina in 2014. She had her own practice in Ecuador for 7 years. Veterinary Medicine is her great passion and helping animals is priceless. She has a dog, Havanna. Her other interests are mountain biking and swimming.

  • Cassidy Sims

    Cassidy Sims is another one of our senior staff members. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 5 years and loves helping both animals and people. Her love of animals shows through her own household, which consists of 4 cats and a dog!
